Organizations may wish to avoid the Ballot Order Effect by randomly displaying Ballot choices for each voter, affording voters the opportunity to offer comments feedback, and suggestions, to allowing your voters to choose not to vote on a specific question versus choosing not to submit a ballot by enabling the ability to abstain.
Settings for Ballot Questions
Important Note
The voting system you select for each question determines which settings are available. For more information please see Voting Systems and Calculating Winners.
Selecting Settings for Ballot Questions
To select a setting for a question, select the appropriate boxes for each of your ballot questions or positions on the Ballot page.
Random Order
Random Order eliminates the Ballot Order Effect by displaying choices in a different order on each voter's ballot. The choices listed first on a ballot can often receive more votes simply because of their position on the ballot.
